I am a mother of three children who all attended Chiddingfold Village Nursery. I am also a grandmother and my granddaughter attended here too. When my youngest child started nursery in 2006 I joined the committee where I then became a member of the Bank Staff. I was then offered a full-time position where I achieved an NVQ Level 2 for Child Care and then later achieving and NVQ Level 3 for Child Care becoming an Early Years Practitioner. Fast forward 15 years I am now the Manager. I am also the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo). My job is rewarding on so many levels working with the children and their parents/carers to support them with their emotional and social development and providing a safe, secure and happy environment.

I have worked at Chiddingfold Village Nursery School for four years now and have really enjoyed it. It has been so rewarding working with the children and their parents to ensure they feel happy, safe and can thrive to their full potential within our nursery. I attended this nursery when I was little, so coming back to work here has been really special. I have pursued my career in childcare since I left school, completing my Levels 3 and 4 in Early Years whilst gaining experience in a range of different age groups. I feel very privileged to become Deputy Manager at this lovely nursery and look forward to my new role.

I first joined Chiddingfold Village Nursery School back in 2003. Since then I have been working at the nursery over the years on temporary contracts when needed. I run music sessions with the children - 'Music With Mary' - which I love. We are very lucky to have this outstanding nursery in this village and I am very privileged to work with a caring team who make it their priority to care for all the children in every way they can.

I have lived in Chiddingfold since 2002. I have two children, one of which attended this nursery. I was a nurse for 19 years before leaving to live overseas. I really enjoy working and chatting to the children and love to tell stories, explore for bugs, bake play-dough cakes, build with Lego and play outside!

I have lived in the village for 12 years and both of my sons attended the Nursery. I became part of the team as Bank Staff and I was delighted when I was offered a full time position this year. I thoroughly enjoy working with the children, they are such unique characters. My Level 3 in Early Years studies are underway, and hopefully I will complete it very quickly.

I have two children one who attends St Mary’s and the other which is about to start their nursery journey with us here at Chiddingfold.
Since leaving school I have pursued my passion for working within the Early Years sector. I graduated with my Early Years degree in 2015 and over the years have gained a variety of experiences in different settings. I really enjoy the creative side of Early Years and love baking! I really enjoy attending lots of different training to expand my knowledge!
