I am a mother of three children who all attended Chiddingfold Village Nursery. I am also a grandmother and my granddaughter attends here now too. When my youngest child started nursery in 2006 I joined the committee where I then became a member of the Bank Staff. I was then offered a full-time position where I achieved an NVQ Level 2 for Child Care and then later achieving and NVQ Level 3 for Child Care becoming an Early Years Practitioner. Fast forward 15 years I am now the Manager. I am also the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo) and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. My job is rewarding on so many levels working with the children and their parents/carers to support them with their emotional and social development and providing a safe, secure and happy environment.

After moving to the village in 2012 I chose the nursery for my youngest son Albie. Whilst he was attending the nursery I had the opportunity to become a member of the Bank Staff. I thoroughly enjoyed this role and was delighted to be offered a full-time position. In December 2017 I completed by Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development. I value the importance of my role ensuring the children have a happy, safe and fun experience during their Early Years. It is wonderful to then see them thriving at school in the future.”

Tilly Sullivan

When I was younger I used to come to this nursery so it was really special when I was able to do my work experience here whilst completing my Level 3 in Early Years. I have now completed my Level 4 and am very happy to be back as a member of the team!

Sam Pocock

Early Years Assistant

I have lived in Chiddingfold all of my life. I am a mother of three children who have all attended the nursery and St Mary’s School. I am delighted to have been offered this role and to be able to make sure the children have a fun, safe and enjoyable time in their early

years before progressing up to school. I am also looking forward to starting my training for a Level 3 diploma in Early Years Development

Claire Horner

I have lived in Chiddingfold since 2002. I have two children, one of which attended this nursery. I was a nurse for 19 years before leaving to live overseas. I really enjoy working and chatting to the children and love to tell stories, explore for bugs, bake play-dough cakes, build with Lego and play outside!


Mollie Long

I attended Rodborough School and Godalming College and I am now on a Gap Year before I go onto university.  I babysit for lots of families and I also have another job as a Learning Support Assistant in my local Primary School. 


I am so excited to now be part of the nursery team and to be given the opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience in Early Years education.

I was a full-time hairdresser but since becoming a mother of three I have a new love for childcare.  When I moved to the village I knew that I wanted my children to attend Chiddingfold Village Nursery School.  I think the nursery is outstanding!  So now to be given the opportunity to be part of the team I am thrilled. 


Working with children is so rewarding.  I love watching their personalities grow.  It is really important to me to make sure the children have a fun and safe experience in the early years before starting school.  I am really looking forward to starting my training for a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Development.
